I am absolutely entranced by this first impression, and the synopsis! I am so fearful of identity theft, and I’ve often thought how amazing it would be to have a clone of myself. Especially to take on the tasks that I do not particularly care for. However, my worst fear would be exactly what Evelyn is dealing with Martine! Martine has taken over her life, and now Evelyn, even though a huge scientific breakthrough, has become obsolete and the shell. What could be worse than all that you have worked so hard for, and a spouse you loved leaving you for a clone of yourself? I find that absolutely terrifying! It is also terrifying that science is getting very close! I was so dismayed when the first impression ended! I really felt like this is a book I would not want to put down!
