Intriguing - and quite a cliffhanger!

This is excellently written, enough that I'm tempted even though I don't normally read thrillers. I was immediately sucked into Evelyn's story and her pain. I didn't want to stop reading. I wanted to find out what Martine wanted. I wanted more.
