From the first I was interested in the story. Why was Evelyn dressing up in a fancy dress, why was she forcing herself to go somewhere she so obviously did not want to go to see people she did not want to see? What was the significance of a wearing a black dress this time instead of the white? What did Nathan do? I have some ideas but I really want to find out exactly what in the world is happening. While I am not a fan of the use of infidelity as entertainment, the situation here, with a clone of Evelyn, is so unusual, has lead to so many questions. Why? How could/does the clone compare with the real woman? What do Evelyn and Martine have in common; what are the differences? How can Nathan do this? How does Evelyn proceed? She seems to continue with her research work but how? I am really looking forward to reading The Echo Wife.
