The writing is a bit choppy and repetitive yet it seems the author is going for a poetic flow. I do enjoy that we are not put through thick paragraphs that tire a reader out. Due to the genre of the book, I prefer to avoid synopsis descriptions, yet I feel that I could easily get into this and enjoy the story the whole way though.
