Okay, I was already a huge fan of Gailey's writing from their previous books. They handled alt-history adventures and contemporary urban fantasy so well. But this is even more impressive so far, from the concept (which is just killer), to that perfect opening paragraph about the dress, to the entire mystery about Martine. I simply have to know what happens next.
