My first impression of the book straight up was that it was about a couple having relationship troubles. The possitioning of the rings, and the facts that there are rings, give that piece of information off to the readers. Fairly interesting choice of portraying that message. However, after reading the description I realized it's even more complicated than what I though. The only part that I didn't guess was in the mix (and the craziest), is that the affair is with the wife's clone, a clone which the wife made herself. Seems very mysterious, and dark themed. Personally I don't find my self very attracted to the plot. I'm not very into the whole mariage issues with a twist of crazy stories. But for those who are, this might be the perfect read.
