Not my cup of tea
This book is very well written. The author uses slang and other terms I am not familiar with. If the reader is familiar with these terms then I assume it would be more interesting and understandable. Also it read as more of a book my Dad would like, very masculine. I felt a bit confused while reading the story. Like there was a portion I missed out on and needed to complete the picture and fully understand the book. I am interested in the plot though. It does seem like an interesting mystery. The pace was a bit slow for me as well. The story felt like one of those old black and white mysteries with the detectives that have a secretary out front and a door with their name on it. I can see the appeal but it is not for me.
