There's something about a tale of murder that really pulls me in, especially when it's well-written. Add to that, a man who's supposed to be an objective investigator but who can't seem to think clearly when there's an attractive victim, and then the mystery gets amped up a notch. I begin to curse the idiotic man, question the victim, and quickly get pulled even further into the lives of these fictional characters.
The story becomes more complicated as more murder gets thrown into the mix. This is a tale of increased danger, familial betrayal, risk, heartbreak, questions, and mystery on top of mystery. With concise writing and intriguing characters, this a story for thriller lovers to devour.
