The synopsis of this story sounded good when I read it and I thought I would like the book because I like reading thrillers but the pacing was too slow for me. I didn’t like this book that much. I didn’t care about the characters and I didn’t connect with them like I was hoping to. By the time I got to 27% of the book, I didn’t care enough about what was happening to continue and I didn’t care anymore. I wasn’t as interested in the story like I was hoping I would be and I’m disappointed because I wanted to like this book and I didn’t. I don’t know what else to say.
