This book started immediately with mystery. It was hard to put the book down because the mystery really had me hooked. There were so many different parts to the story, I couldn’t wait to see how it was going to all come together. There were so many ridiculous, but plausible twists and turns throughout the whole book. It was filled with action, mystery, and a great court case.
At first I wasn’t a fan of John, but I feel like the author did that on purpose so you could grow to actually like him. I thought the side characters were nice additions to the story, and how everything came together. I liked questioning everyone’s motives and wonder who was good and who wasn’t.
I enjoyed that this book had very concise chapters, and would recommend to to fans of James Patterson’s books. If you like non stop action and mystery this would definitely be a book for you. It kept me on my toes the whole time, and that’s definitely what I love in a thriller.
