I absolutely loved this thriller and read it in one sitting! Hard to believe it's a debut novel as it moves along with a breakneck pace and kept me turning pages into the night! Based on historical elements of a real serial killer, Jordan brings to life the protagonist and flawed character, John Coleman. a lawyer who is determined to find the killer when a friend is brutally murdered. Add an already-troubled marriage and a seductive woman who needs his help to the mix and the roller-coaster ride begins! Not for the faint of heart, this book grips you by the neck (and various other organs) and doesn't let go! John has secrets and lies and those get him into more trouble than he could have imagined. Dark and gritty with some horrific scenes, the novel keeps you guessing until the end. If you love edgy this is for you! I'll surely be looking for more from Michael Jordan!
