I received this book as a giveaway from bookishfirst and that in no way affects my opinion on this book. I found none of the characters likable whatsoever. John had no redeemable qualities and didn’t redeem himself at any point in the book and Cathy was so judge-mental and rude to John. The whole Jennifer thing was so predictable it wasn’t even funny. I enjoy thrillers and suspense but I was not put in suspense or thrilled by this book. The writing was subpar at best. I could tolerate the first half of the book but the second half just dragged on and on. I would recommend this to anyone that’s a hardcore thriller fan. This hasn’t been the worst book I’ve read but definitely not the best book.
