*won in a giveaway on GoodReads for honest review* The story itself was really good and I did enjoy it however I didn't like the main character at all. He was super annoying and I really hated how he blamed cheating on...whipped cream and jam... more than once? like it was mentioned the entire book lol but really he was just a creepy cheater. Of course that being said im not saying he should have gone to prison but it was imo kinda funny.
Giving this book three stars rather than 4 because I didn't like how I talked about race. I get the point of talking about "old school racism" but well a racist is a racist, and even the "nonracist" characters said some uh yea imo racist offhand things. they were few and far between but enough to be annoying. still not annoying as that damn whipped cream tho.
