The author's writing style had me immersed in John's world before I finished the excerpt. Books where the past impacts the present never fail to engage me. I guess I just enjoy secrets and lots of layers in my characters. My first impression is that this one will be a hard to put down and I stayed up all night to finish it book. January 16, 2018, will be a very good day for mystery and thriller lovers.
