Reading the synopsis, I find myself immediately wanting to read this novel. Perhaps I'm even hoping it's either over 500 pages or going to be a series. From the start it seems as though there are many aspects to the story that are worth anticipating, as well as the potential for more. After reading the first look I appreciate the writing style, it's pretty straight forward with few frills. The beginning of the novel draws you in slowly from what I can tell, and who doesn't love a thrilling novel with a slow boil?
