It seems like there is a lot going on with this story based on the synopsis that could either go well or end up extremely convoluted. First is the serial killer and his history with the protagonist. Then there is the affair and the risk of losing his marriage. Add to that the crime he is then accused of committing, and the threats to his life and his family’s life by the serial killer and I can barely hold that all in my brain at one time.
Crime thrillers usually aren’t my cup of tea, although I have a weak spot for twists and this story likely has a few. If the author can weave all the moving parts together in a coherent way it could be an enjoyable book.
