The first pages of this novel were enough to get me hooked. There were no unnecessary details- the author jumped right in with the first page. I hope the author can develop the characters and plot without dragging down the pace. I want my crime and legal dramas to be suspenseful and exciting but I also look forward to details that add different perspectives and keep my attention.
