This promises to be one of those "killer thrillers" and I'm hoping to read more. This first impression left me wanting more as I cuts off mid sentence! John is the main character and he has a dark past. His father was lead detective on a serial killer case and he never solved it, leading to scorn to not just him but his son. Years later, someone John knows is brutally killed. Will this send him down a similar path as his father? Maybe. Can't wait to read more!
