I like the the story is written in the first person of John. Hopefully it doesn't switch between first person viewpoints, since I thought this story would be more from the point of view of Jennifer. Action takes place right away, getting the reader to settle into the story quickly. The only thing that concerns me is that it seems like there is a lot going on from the synopsis. It might get to be too much once everything is added into the story.
