Great writing that pulled me in from the start

This author has such an amazing writing style that really pulled me in from the very first page. It pulled me into the story with John and actually had me pretty scared. I admit that serial killer crime/Thrillers are the ones that scare me the most but I love being scared sometimes. I love that this one has more to it with John's father and the past and can't wait to see how it plays out.
