Well, the title of this first impression says it all: I'm hooked. This book has captured my interest and has now been placed on my Goodreads "Want to Read" list. The conversational tone the author used definitely helped to draw my interest to the story. Given the details within the book synopsis as well as the excerpt provided it will be interesting to see how this story plays out and goes full circle to the point where the protagonist becomes one of the Butcher's next targets.
