First off it took till May before I received my copy but I did enjoy this book. Milton’s character is relatable in the fact he wants to redeem himself. Befriending Sharon & Elijah & working to help them & others is a good way to start. His career is something that he discusses with no one but one he has a few regrets about. I’m bummed it didn’t tell us what became of Elijah & his mom, they were a good chunk of the book but it just leaves it up to you to think of what maybe happening with them. The fact that this is part of a series is nice, I’m looking forward to the next book in hopes that some of the characters besides control & Milton come back! If you enjoy action stories that have an actual plot this book series is definitely for you. I enjoyed my advanced copy & will be on the lookout for more John Milton books in the future. Here’s to hoping this isn’t the last we hear of Elijah!!
