This is a first in a series and I like impossible tasks for characters in a book. I enjoyed reading the book from start to finish. I was intrigued by Jonathan and his need to erase any traces of black op! I felt a relationship with the characters and they became endearing as we crossed the globe learning about places as we moved to assignments in this thriller. We learn about the characters past and what has brought him to what he is focused on accomplishing, and in the fold is murder, and mayhem and nothing can get in the way. This is a fast read as we learn about the human race and politics. I liked the idea of this book and the real possibilities of how it touched on terrorism. The writing was well done, detailed, and allowed you to relate to main character. That it is a series and where it will take us from book one will have to be added layers of suspense and complexity for it to succeed.
