I'm not normally one for spy books, but the writing in this is surprisingly compelling. the depiction of settings and characters is nuanced and interesting and I found myself sucked into the story.
The jacket cover makes this seem like a typical spy novel, but I believe the writing is better than average. Overall a decent read.
