The Cleaner by Mark Dawson immediately attracted my attention with a government assassin that suddenly needs to disappear once the government agency turns against him. Instead of the hunter, he becomes the hunted and is forced to hide in London. He meets a single mother and son and eventually has to help them fight off gangs that were after them while dealing with his own problems as well.
