I'm usually wary of books with a cover like this one. I don't know if it's because I prefer art on covers or because they intimidate me. Could be both.
The book opens up with an extremely long descriptive paragraph that made me question whether I wanted to keep reading. The paragraphs did thin up, so that's good.
Not sure this is the kind of story I'd enjoy, tough. Too much violence.
