Government Assassin ordered to be assassinated!

Well there is a story for you! John Milton is an assassin for the government but then a botched job happens and now he must be dealt with. John Milton sounds like a pretty good guy but will he be able to escape his death while helping out Sharon and Elijah? Spoiler alert: This is the first book in the John Milton series, so I'm guessing yes. ;)
