For Jason Bourne fans
The Cleaner opens in a tranquil forest suddenly marred by automatic gunfire. The murders committed are graphic, and play out without a rationale - the reader has no idea who the shooter is and why he's ended two lives.
I often enjoy thrillers and crime fiction, but this one seems a bit wordy and violent for my taste. Given that it follows a field agent on the run, I think this series might be a hit for fans of Jason Bourne.
