This really isn't my genre of book, and the opening excerpt of this novel did nothing to make me change my mind. It's prose is fine, as far as that goes, but nothing grabbed me, and I dislike action novels in general. I wouldn't be able to judge if this is 'quality' FOR a military/espionage novel, even...
