Reading the beggining left me craving more: what he feels, his actions and his path in life.

I love the cover! It catches your attention and makes you want to know more. I am mainly interested in ww2 era books and this one gives off the vibe of being in that category even before you start to read it. My mother does foster care and this plot line seems immensely interesting to read from the boys point of view which is nicely narrated. Reading the beggining left me craving more: what he feels, his actions and his path in life after he leaves his "adopted family"!
