The “Childrens Train” is told from a little boy’s perspective similar to that used in “The boy in the Striped Pajamas” and just as compelling. Ardone’s writing style, sentence structure, and word choice are exactly how I imagine a seven-year-old boy would tell his story. As I turned each page I became more and more connected to this little boy, his past, his present, and his possible future. Based on the short excerpt, I believe this novel could become one of our great classics. I sincerely hope to win this book’s raffle and I look forward to its publication and having the opportunity to finish reading it.
