As an American, I don't get a lot of perspective of WW2 from Axis perspective. I love this story premise, especially as its basis is in truth, and look forward to hearing more about Italy's transitions from a child's perspective. It seems hopeful and human, which seems to be something lost far too often. I adore Ameri already, and want to follow him through his tumultuous adolescent years.
