good setup and rich on atmospheric details

I like the setup of The Children's Train. It has a nice build and pacing to it. I was a bit surprised to see that the chapters provided as part of the first look still had editing marks, which I found a bit distracting (made me read to spot other grammatical errors that had not yet been caught). The book, however shows great promise of an interesting read with a blend of historic and atmospheric details which will provide for a positive reading experience.
