I love stories that are told from children’s perspectives. The innocence of this storytelling method makes the heartbreaking scenes all the more powerful. The opening of this book, told from a child’s eyes, really caught my attention. This looks like this is going to be a major tear-jerker and I’m looking forward to emptying a tissue box for the sake of a story!
