The Children's Train shows immense potential, and I was immediately grabbed by the writing. It's smooth and very literary which is exactly what I want in historical fiction. Plot wise, I really enjoy the bigger look of the psychological and more emotional affects, which I adore character based books. I'm sure there will be lots of dillemmas, mistakes, and victories for Amerigo that I'd love to witness!
