The Best Laid Plans is hilarious, has the best cringe-worthy moments and I literally could not put it down.
Keely and her entire group of friends were well developed, with detailed histories, quirks and baggage. I adored Andrew from the start and was intrigued by the mysterious Dean. They weren’t all lovable characters but I think that’s what made them come alive.
This is a high school coming of age story that is engaging while calling out double-standards in regards to sex and gender inequality as well as addressing issues regarding peer pressure. I loved how the author addressed these issues within the story in a way that felt natural. I’d highly recommend it to any rom-com fans but particularly those who adore a love triangle.
