The childhood-friends-to-lovers trope might just be my new favorite. I mean, seriously! The tension, the longing, the EMOTION!! While I'll always have a soft spot for enemies-to-lovers, there's something incredibly special about the journey from friends to more. Witnessing two people realize their deep connection and fall for each other is just heart-meltingly adorable. (Excuse me while I grab some tissues 😭)
