Right off the bat I noticed that the author writes these characters in a realistic way that makes them feel authentic and relatable, which is hard to do. Usually when I am reading a book about teenagers or younger their imature-ness is too exaggerated and you want to bang the characters head against the wall for being so dumb. But I can already tell the characters in this book are going to face some growth and change, and it's going to be fun, humorous story that I am going to devour in a couple sittings. I can't wait to read more.
