This book makes me feel old and like a prude. I cannot imagine any parent letting their child read a book like this, and I say this as someone who grew up in the 80s HOPING the young adult books she read would describe characters having sex. (They never did...and the few times the characters actually lost their virginity, the authors left it to the readers’ imaginations...) The opening page is way, way too much even for a married adult like me who occasionally likes to read interesting YA novels. I can already tell in addition to being overly explicit, the story is going to be filled with a bunch of teenage drivel. No thanks. Respectfully declining!
