Amazing! Best Laid Plans is a really, really good book. The topic? Eighteen-years-old girl living in a small city, thinking that she should have sex before she heads to college. Hmm... you cringed a little bit, no?
Well, that's one of the reasons this book rocks. The author is not afraid to write about a taboo topic, sex. Instead, she creates a character that feels uncomfortable with the idea of it, but she still believes it's her "passport" for her college life.
I also loved Andrew and Hannah, the protagonist's best friends. Girls and boys can be friends without being in love and the author proves it through the bond between Keely and Andrew.
The other minor characters are super relatable too. There are the fuck-boys, the famous girls, the LGBTQ+ girls, the athletes and all!
So, give me a reason not to love this AWESOME BOOK. I totally recommend it and it's already in my TBR list.
