This book seems very cute and a fast read for teen readers, and accurate that teenagers would be so sex obsessed. It's hard to tell from a first read since it's obviously only a few pages, but one character's obsession with being a real woman now she's had sex was super annoying. Depending on how the book handles it, it could be either good commentary on how much value we place on someone's "purity" and pressures on sex, or something that just ends up playing right into it. And it would have to be a really well done commentary, because reading it made me feel uncomfortable in a way that I don't think it was meant to make me. The writing comes off as incredibly juvenile which doesn't help.
