I was surprised upon reading the excerpt that it's about kids in high school. I thought by the title and cover, it would be about adults. And then I re-read the premise and I'm pretty disgusted. Is this book really being targeted to young adults? Trying to lose your virginity because everyone in you friend group already has is a TERRIBLE reason. Even if that's not what ends up happening in the end (which I'm sure her and some guy fall in love and decide to wait *eyeroll*), it's an awful premise. And knowing all that, the title is so cringy!!! Best LAID Plans? Ick.
