I like YA rom-coms, but I was not a fan of this one. This plot seems to focus on a teenage girl obsessed with losing her virginity, which I find to be one of the most frustrating plotlines in books. I think it is fine for a YA book to be sex-positive, but I hate when YA books claim that you are less of a person if you are a virgin. This is coming from someone who is not interested in sex, so I tend to find these kinds of books unrelatable. I also know that the MC is going to make terrible decisions throughout the course of the book (since it seems like she is trying to find a guy, any guy, to have sex with and lose her virginity). Overall, this is not my kind of book, and I am going to skip this one.
