I have to say I believe that Cameron Lund does a decent job of capturing the awkwardness of first discussions around sex and sexuality in "The Best Laid Plans". The reader doesn't feel so uncomfortable so they cannot read the text; however, the discomfort is easily captured. That is not always an easy thing to capture so props need go to Lund in doing so.
The dust cover seems too childish and turns me off, personally, from reading the text. I would never have picked up the book on my own with the cover as it is. The actual text interests me though and is one I'll put on my consideration list to read and review in the future.
