I'd say it's juvenile to be so obsessed with losing your virginity, but in reality high school students are in fact juveniles so this probably makes sense. And I'm far enough removed from high school that it seems like such a priority over say, what you'll be doing after you graduate from high school. The storytelling is fun and age appropriate, but I struggled some because the topic seems so inconsequential to me - even looking back to when I was that age.
