I’m a huge fan of YA contemporary books and this one has all the hallmarks to being successful. The cover is adorable, the writing is equal parts emotional and sassy, and the relationships are so far really well developed.
The opening was hilarious and I felt like the sample ended way too soon. I could definitely see myself reading this in one sitting and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out. While I feel like I know where it’ll need up, I think the author could surprise me in how we arrive there. This is well written and funny, which is all I ask for in rom-coms.
