I didn't realize this is the third book in a series until I read it. I found Tessa to be a mess and she really wasn't enjoyable to read as a character. Cole -who sounds really hot in a bad boy way - was a little better. I just found the whole we are together/no we aren't every few mins (it felt that way) to be too toxic for me to get into.
Tessa seemed so insecure and whiny to me. I was hoping she would be a strong female character but she wasn't. Cole was easier to read because he is a bad boy - and his description helped keep me a little interested.
I really like series about love stories and relationships that continue from book to book and grow as the characters age. But I don't think I'd read this series.
