First, thank you to Bookish First for a copy of this book. I appreciate them sending the book to me to read as an ARC. That being said, I was not aware at the time that this was part of a series. On top of that, while some books can be read as stand alone books, this can not. I do not recall if that was mentioned when I entered to read the book.
Because of this, I found myself lost. I do not think that I can give it 1 star because I didn't finish it but I may have liked it should I have read the other books. There may be a time I read the other two books in the series.
Of what I did read, I do like the writer, Blair Holden's, writing style. It is easy to read and I did like the characters.
