I'm a big fan of a good romance but this one just did not do it for me. Maybe I'm just struggling to relate to a college freshman being this obsessed with in an overly dramatic relationship that isn't actually a relationship anymore though they both still say it is in secret . . . Honestly, with how serious she was at the very start, I didn't even realize this was going to be about a college freshman and a football star. I thought this was going to be something top secret (CIA, military, etc.) where it's just too dangerous for her to be connected to him so once I figured out the actual setting, it felt a bit let down. I like her writing style but the topic just isn't for me, it seems. I'm also not a fan of the cover and title.
