I struggled to get through this First Impression. From the start, I felt like I was missing, not just something, but a whole lot. I'm assuming that whatever happened in books one and two are continued here in three, without preamble, and so the opening feels like walking into a movie at the midway point. The concept of the couple pretending to break up to protect her identity, but then still hanging out in public, doesn't make sense. Feels like a lot of drama that will take a long time to get anywhere interesting.
